Top Down Studio is an editorial consultancy founded in 2021 by Alana Hope Levinson that helps brands, organizations, and regular people figure out how to make media. Working across mediums, we can advise on everything editorial, from how to write a trend piece to how build a media empire.

Alana Hope Levinson is a writer interested in pop-culture, trends, design, and gender. As an editor, she specializes in entrepreneurial media, and developed editorial at Medium and the critically acclaimed men’s lifestyle publication MEL. Alana got her master’s degree at UC Berkeley, where she was named the journalism school’s Felker Magazine Fellow of 2014. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Art Director Raffi Lehrer, and their dog Carmela.
